Vehicle Wrap Industry

Can you wrap a car with rust or peeling paint?

No. Vinyl adhesive needs a sound, smooth surface — over rust or flaking paint it won't bond properly, the film telegraphs every defect, and trapped moisture keeps corroding underneath. Worse, removal later pulls off whatever loose paint the vinyl did stick to. Surface prep basics are covered in overlam.com/blog/how-to-wrap-a-car.
