Designs — retired public ordering and the current Pro tools

Current status

Wraptor no longer sells wrap designs directly to vehicle owners or operates a public design storefront. The former Designs checkout is retired:

  • /designs and /designs/order send visitors to the shop directory at /shops.
  • New design-order payment intents and inspiration uploads are rejected before any payment, database, or storage write.
  • Existing thank-you, status, webhook, and admin-fulfillment paths remain only so orders that were already paid can be completed.

The package prices and public configurator described in older documentation are historical, not a current offer.

What replaces it

Wraptor now helps the shop own the design relationship instead of competing for it.

WrapStudio

Shops create artwork and concepts inside WrapStudio Design, connect that work to a job, send a proof, build the quote, and move the approved work into production.

White-label Magic Wrap for Pro

An active, paid Wraptor Pro shop can publish its own branded Magic Wrap experience on its Wrapsite or external website:

  • The customer interacts with the shop's brand and pricing.
  • Each run uses 3 AI credits from that shop's balance.
  • A run can return up to three concepts.
  • The lead goes only to the sponsoring shop.
  • Wraptor does not fund a public concept or take the customer relationship.

Free, Solo, trialing Pro, canceled, legacy, and unknown accounts cannot start new public Magic Wrap generations. This provider-funded action requires an active paid Pro membership. See Plans.

Private Pro design and installer network

When a Pro shop needs overflow help, it can use the private Certified Network. Wraptor's design team is a shop-facing Pro benefit, not a public consumer service.

Public buyer experience

A buyer looking for a wrap uses the Directory to compare shops and contact a selected shop directly. Wraptor does not sell the buyer a design, generate concepts at Wraptor's expense, or resell the lead.

Historical paid orders

If a customer paid through the former Designs flow before retirement:

  1. Their existing confirmation or thank-you link can still resolve.
  2. The status route can still surface the linked production job and tracking token.
  3. Wraptor administrators can complete fulfillment from the retained design-orders desk.
  4. The signed Stripe webhook remains available for already-created payment events.

The retired flow cannot accept a new order.

  • WrapStudio Design — the shop's production design workspace.
  • Proofs — customer review and approval.
  • Track — normal shop job tracking and retained tracking for prior paid design orders.
  • Directory — the public buyer front door.
  • Certified Network — private Pro overflow support.
  • Plans — Free, Solo, Pro, the card-backed trial, and Magic Wrap entitlements.
